I am happy to announce you that in the following weeks we will be implementing a few invisible changes to ensure stability of our file system.

1. We will be upgrading our file backup system meaning that every file you upload will have a backup copy in an encrypted server of our own. Members will not be able to access this server though, instead, the usefulness of this backup server will shine when it comes to avoid missing/dead links that mediafire is so common with. This server will be in charge of keeping links alive and fetching missing dead files into rapidshare in a quick and timely manner.

2. Once we have the new backup server interface programmed and running we will be reactivating the "Library Materials New Submission". Sorry for all the library materials postings still in queue. We are still slowly processing them one by one. Doing so takes time, especially for large dvdrip based trading courses involving multiple mediafire download links. Rest assured that your Wealthpoints, once assigned, will not be decremented even if we lower the cost of your contribution in the future.

We hope these changes will bring more enjoyment for the community in the coming years and thus offer a robust platform for which members will appreciate.

Successfully finished programming part 1 of 3 of stage 1.
The backup project consists of 3 stages.
Once part 2 is programmed, the file server will be able to successfully obfuscate filenames into innocent looking "business reports" compressed files protected by encrypted passwords.
This Fileserver project will ensure we will work smoothly and reach our goal of being able to test and approve submissions in a 3 day time period ! !
Currently our forum has 2 software testers. We are still evaluating their performance and experience in testing softwares.
If you have experience testing financial softwares and are subscribed to realtime paid datafeeds, you are welcome to email us at: tradesoft_exchange@hotmail.com for us to consider you as a software tester or as a backup software tester in case we need to fire the current ones.
Remember, being a software tester is a hard work and you must go a step ahead of a time line. If you take too much time to test the software I send you, your reputation will go to the floor and I will simply choose another member. It is that easy these days.

Fired on Tester
Our forum is back to 1 tester. Fired one tester because did not have any interest in testing things thoroughly....lazy as a pussycat.

Backup Server
Our backup server programming is full sail ahead. It has been upgraded to 100GB of storage behind a php encrypting script that does all its magic behind curtain. We have completely finished stage 1 of 3 for the programming.

Mediafire is getting crappy
Lately la lot of our mediafire.com download links are going dead. If this continues to happen, we will have to start using rapidshare.com. Rapidshare has its unique set of advantages. It allows remote uploads, so if one of our links goes dead, we just locate the file in our backup server and fetch it back into rapidshare at server-to-server megabit speeds ! ! !

Backup Server Project

Our backup server project is nearly finished. We just need to program up the cookie and session codes.
We tested a remote upload from the backup server to Rapidshare and it transferred a 100MB file in 3 minutes. Not bad ! !

Members with High Wealthpoints

We have made some database audits and noticed that our now defunct admin (yosewe) previously assigned a large amount of Wealthpoints to several old members. The audit also told us that these members with a high amount of members are just sitting there in the sidelines and downloading our latest contributions.

We carefully warn these "Big Fish" members to start contributing something back to the forum. If in the next few weeks we don't see any good and meaningful contributions into the forum, let me tell you that your account will suffer.

Yosewe gave you those points with the good intention to develop "trust", if these members use this trust to just leech off from our repository without contributing anything back, I will take lead of an account leveling procedure.
Be warned. The high points-do nothing leeching- members knowwho they are. Remember that this is community. We live if everyone, including "Big Fish" members contribute back ! ! ! I know who you are and I know you have tenfold this forum has ! ! !

There has been a slight modification of the Sub Version Contribution Rules.

Please read in order to get acquainted. We modified it in order to motivate members to contribute worthwhile resources and discourage other members whose sole purpose is to submit multiple sub versions and fill up the forum repository with repeated resources.

We are implementing this in order to reduce workload and avoid members finding loopholes in our generosity and exploiting it to their advantage, thus reducing the quality of contributions.

We will be testing a new encryption script this weekend from Friday July 25 until July 28 2008.

Expect some intermittent downtime during this phase as we try to adapt an encryption script that will encrypt traffic going from your browser to our servers. This is for privacy/security concerns.
Our database will experience some encryption as well.

We will be also installing some search engine cloaking test code in order to keep popular search engine crawlers from indexing undesirable pages from the site.

Do not worry, all wealthpoints and account information are backed up across multiple database copies offline.
We are not like other sites that spoof out and disappear out of nothing.

After a heavy weekend we are now reopening the youseewealth.com website.

We thank to all mods and "big fish" members for their contributions and input.

As for the upgrades we made, you should not notice absolutely any difference because they are not activated yet. We will eventually activate all the plugin scripts one by one and monitor how they behave under real member usage loads.

The modifications and uprgrades we did this weekened will ensure our future survival, since, as you know , the topic our site tries to fulfill is indeed, full of perils and financial dangers.
