1. open a chart from MetaTrader 4 terminal, for example, the 1 minute chart of EURUSD.
2. open the MetaTrader 4 Navigator panel (click View--Navigator)
3. click a chart first, then click Scripts in the Navigator panel, then double click mt2ib,

Before click OK, you make sure the settings are correct.
4. How to set the settings:
Link2Tws: if you want the script link your IB account, you select true.
newAccount: if your MetaTrader 4 terminal already exist open trades and you want the trades to be opened in your IB account at current market prices, then you select true, otherwise select false.
IPtoConnect: the computer IP address which your tws runs on.
accountNr: the IB account number which you want to trade, if your account is an advisor account, you can leave it empty by specifying a financial advisor profile name in the next row.
faProfile: allocation profile for financial advisor account. Profile name should also exit in your IB tws.
apiClientID: can leave as given or you can fill in any positive number.
Amount: when MetaTrader 4 terminal trades 1 lot, the IB tws trades this amount.
5．When you trade forex (currently only forex) in MetaTrader 4, mt2ib will clone your trades in your tws.
6. Please test drive this program in MetaTrader 4 demo and IB simulated account first. The program author will not be reliable in any form for the trader’s loss.

TESTED. No installation available; This is actually a localized version of MetaTrader for VIC Financial. The application loads but the MetaTrader 2 IB link does not appear to work.

1. There is no installation. This appears to be a localized version of MetaTrader that was developed specifically for VIC Global Financial.



2. When attempting to login, there appears to be only a VIC server login.



3. Application appears to be in Chinese or other -- so it is not suitable for those who are not completely familiar with MetaTrader 4.




4. TWS connectivity could not be tested because there was no price server to connect to. All orders were rejected.




FYI. Perhaps some users may find this application useful especially if they are completely fluent with MetaTrader 4 and can bring their own datafeed. I was not able to get the link working between VIC MT4 and TWS though.

This could potentially turn into a more valuable addition to our database if the original poster can EXPORT the MT2IB functionality so that we can simply import it into the standard MetaTrader 4 application.
